Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters. We believe in transparency about what we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep your data safe.

Information we collect
- Twitch Account Data: When you log in, we receive your Twitch user ID, display name, avatar URL, and whether you are a moderator for channels using our Extension. We strictly use this for authentication and permission checks.
- User Content: Any suggestions, comments, descriptions, or votes you create on the platform are stored to provide the core service.
- Moderation Data: Your role (User, Mod, Admin) and any active ban status to enforce community safety.
- Session Records: Minimal technical data required to keep you signed in securely.
How we use your information
We use your data solely to operate the ContentLoop platform. This includes authenticating your session, displaying your profile on your posts, calculating vote tallies, and enabling moderators to manage content via our Twitch Extension. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or third-party analytics.
Cookies & Security
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie contains a secure token, not your Twitch credentials. It is not used for tracking across other websites and automatically expires after 30 days of inactivity. Logging out immediately invalidates this session.
What we don't do
ContentLoop cannot control your Twitch account. We cannot post in chat, send whispers, follow channels, or change your stream settings. We have read-only access to your basic profile identity.
Data Retention
Session data is deleted automatically upon expiration. Content you create (ideas, comments) remains on the platform until you delete it or a moderator removes it.
Data Sharing
We do not sell data. We do not share data with advertisers. Service providers (e.g., hosting) only process data necessary to keep the site online.
